The grass still glistened with the sparkles left over by the morning dew. The sun's rays were lazily crawling over the horizon turning the sky a soft pink. Soft footfalls could be heard on the padded grassy ground. To the casual onlooker, the figure was about five foot nine and could very well be 180 pounds, yet the foot steps that carried such frame were light and stealthy, of one who is used to being one with the land. The figure approached the small cottage in the middle of the vineyard, a smile formed across the semi hidden face as it saw another figure bending over a vine inspecting its fruit.
"The Sun is still not up!" The cloaked figure called to the farmer in a crisp clear baritone. The sound carried by a strong baritone voice. The thinner frame of the vine keeper would straightened and with a wide smile on his face would call back. "But the work day already begun!" With quick almost galloping steps, the cloaked figure would race forward sending his travelling hood back to reveal a face most would call hansome but that compared to the full elven blood of the one running with as much grace and speed towards him, was nothing but average. "Good to see you home Son!" The farmer called as the two men joined in a hug. "Its good to be home dad if only for a little while" The much bulkierman replied yet standing there in the dawning of the day he looked very much like the young son. The sun and sky were witness to this scene, a refreshing sight as regfreshing as a morning breeze.
